tES Electrodes, Ring
Ring electrodes are most commonly used in High Definition tES applications as their distinctive ‘doughnut’ shaped design allows for better control over the distribution and direction of current. By restricting the electrical current to flow between the inner and the outer ring, this helps clinicians and researchers shape the electric field more accurately than standard electrode setups. This design highly concentrates the electric field directly beneath the target site rather than allowing it to spread widely across the scalp and cortex, making stimulation more precise, accurate and stronger for the intended brain region.
Sizes avaliable:
ca. 48mm outer diameter, ca. 24mm inner diameter (most popular)
ca. 75mm outer diameter, ca. 30mm inner diameter
ca. 100mm outer diameter, ca. 70mm inner diameter
ca. 110mm outer diameter, ca. 90mm inner diameter
Non adhesive
Resuable
1 pair = 2 electrodes
Best practice is to be used with conductive paste and/ or tES electrode sponges
