tES Electrode Sponges

Electrode sponges are used in tES applications. The sponges are designed to be damp for use, by soaking the sponges in a saltwater solution ensures optimal conductivity and accurate signal transmission. The sponges also act as a protective barrier between the electrode and the skin, reducing irritation from direct contact. Additionally, their moisture allows the sponges to hold better to the body than exposed electrodes, minimising movement, reducing the need for frequent adjustments, and helping maintain consistent recordings with less signal interference.
