DC-Stimulator MR Electrode Cable
A DC-Stimulator MR Electrode Cable is a specialised cable used in transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) applications within an MRI environment, allowing tES to be performed simultaneously with fMRI. This type of cable is used on the device side of the setup, connecting the MRI-compatible interface to the electrodes placed on the patient’s scalp or body. As it directly conducts stimulation current to the patient, the cable has additional safety features such as controlled current delivery, insulation suitable for skin contact, strain relief, and materials designed to reduce the risk of heating, burns, or discomfort during MRI scanning.
